Society of Aesthetic Medicine Conference (SAMC) Singapore held its highly successful event in the first quarter of the year at the Sheraton Towers Singapore on 2nd & 3rd March 2024 . Having had the opportunity to manage the event, we at Deltus are immensely proud of the exceptional execution of the conference and exhibition.
With an impressive attendance of 285 delegates, the conference portrays its significant impact. The conference was enriched by the participation of 58 renowned speakers from around the world, who shared their expertise. SAMC provided ample learning and networking opportunities through its extensive program, which included 74 symposium and workshop sessions. To further elevate the conference’s influence within the aesthetic medicine community, 25 sponsors and exhibitors showcased remarkable innovations for medical aesthetic professionals. We extend a special mention and thanks to each sponsor, speaker, and delegate for their valuable contributions to the success of the event.
Dr. Siew Tuck Wah, Prof. Dr. Rungsima Wanitphakdeedecha, and Dr. Lim Ting Song delivered their opening remarks on the first day of the event. Apart from the usual greetings, their speeches took a moving turn as they paid tribute to the late Dr. Wilson Ho, a distinguished colleague in Hong Kong who specialised in cosmetic surgery.
Moving on to the conference highlights, the event featured two live demonstration sessions showcasing injection techniques during the “Salmons & Trouts: All About Polynucleotides” and “Mid Face Augmentation Masterclass” sessions. This combination of theoretical knowledge and practical application enriched attendees’ learning experiences, fostering a deeper understanding of the subject matter. On the other hand, sponsors feedback was overwhelmingly positive regarding the exhibition, with many praising SAMC this year as the most grandeur event this time around. Exhibitors highly acclaimed the conference for its well-planned and immersive experience, which set a high standard for the industry.
In addition to our roles as supporter partner as AMSC and Deltus, we were present at our booth to promote AMSC as a leading platform for advancements in aesthetic medicine, surgery, and dermatology. We encouraged delegates and sponsors to leverage AMSC for the latest industry updates, promising an enriching experience at this year’s event in Malaysia.
With SAM Conference & Exhibition is expected in 2025, we believe it will provide an enhanced experience along with fresh chances for education and partnership. Next year, we’re excited to see old friends again and welcome new attendees to what promises to be another incredible occasion for all professionals of this industry!
