Earlier this month, our AMSC team travelled to Tokyo to attend AMWC Japan (Aesthetic & Anti-Aging Medicine World Congress), held on 12 and 13 September 2026 at The Prince Park Tower. The congress brought together an impressive scientific programme spanning five concurrent halls, covering everything from regenerative aesthetics and skin quality to combination treatments and the science of longevity.
While AMWC Japan and AMSC Malaysia both serve the same growing aesthetic medicine community across Asia, we believe there is more to gain from connection than competition. We were honoured to be invited to attend this year’s congress, and grateful for the warm hospitality shown to our team throughout the trip.
Beyond the conference halls, the visit gave our team the opportunity to connect with the many japanese product and technology companies exhibiting at AMWC Japan, many of whom we hope to welcome to future AMSC editions. It was also a wonderful chance to experience Tokyo itself, from its food to its culture, alongside familiar faces and new friends within the industry.
We left Tokyo with a deeper appreciation for what AMWC Japan has built, and even greater excitement for what collaboration between our two platforms could look like in the years ahead. Sometimes the best way forward in this industry isn’t through rivalry, but through genuinely getting to know the people doing the same work, just in a different city.
We look forward to welcoming the AMWC Japan team back to Malaysia, and to more of these exchanges in the future.
