We’re proud to look back on a successful STRA Forum & Expo 2026, which officially closed its doors on 17 April at Hextar World Exhibition Hall, Empire City, after two days that brought Malaysia’s short-term rental accommodation ecosystem together like never before.
The event opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony officiated by our Co-Founder, CP Saw, alongside Mr. Ivan Choong (President, MVR), Mr. Jayden Lee (representing MYSTRA), and Miss Michelle Siew (MYSS) — joined by leading STRA operators, hosts, real estate agents, developers, and investors from across the industry.

Our forum programme tackled the topics shaping the industry today from regulatory guidelines and smarter pricing, to design that converts, developer-operator alignment, and even tackling rental scams in the STRA space. Meanwhile, our exhibition hall gave attendees hands-on access to the latest tech and service solutions from operators, technology providers, and service partners across the ecosystem.
The response spoke for itself: 80% of attendees rated their overall experience as excellent or good, and 85% said they’re likely to attend again next year.
